Spirit is Alive
The title track Spirit is Alive is my first pass at a hip hop groove. Some of the lyrics:

a doubt. It’s alive on you, it’s alive in me, it’s alive in all we see, universally, inclusivity. Spirit’s rising, taking
me higher, you got the free, you got the flow, you got the fire!”

Everyday
When I perform this song I start out telling my audience that it was forever before any verses came to me.
The only thing that kept going through my head was “Everyday, everyday, I am with you, everyday. But then
as
life unfolded and I began to feel the spirit of peace wash over me, the verses came together. It’s all about
what
I wanted to experience in prayer and I think many of you can identify with the experience of when I pray, what
do I pray for, is there an answer, will all my fears be released while I’m still living long enough to enjoy life
without them.
