Bukeka is an inspirational singer, speaker and songwriter.
She uses the power of her voice and music from the heart to inspire well being worldwide. Bukeka’s energy
never fails to WOW audiences and move people to tears simultaneously. In her workshops she helps people
explore core values and beliefs that inspire more favorable life outcomes. Her desire is to reach people who
see themselves as not good enough or not equipped enough to experience the good life has to offer.
Her musical performances include performing with the legendary Oleta Adams, opening for entertainment
industry icons Harry Belafonte and Della Reece. She has also opened for world renowned authors such as
Dr. Maya Angelou, Mark Victor Hansen, Gary Zukav, Marianne Williamson and Arun Gandhi.
She has been featured in the Kansas City Star, Evolving Woman Magazine, and the Kansas City Woman’s
Foundation “Celebrating Woman” 2001 book edition. Her television appearances include KCTV 5 Bright and
Early Show and CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360.
Her future plans are to travel to South Africa and India to present motivational workshops on self-worth
and well-being. She continues to do work involving diversity and oneness for corporations and not-for-profit organizations.

Personal Story:
“To me music and message go hand in hand. Music is so powerful; I include music I write into my keynote
speeches and workshops as a way to anchor the message of the workshop overall. My music is not just about
my experience, but it’s about the human experience. When I incorporate it into speaking platforms it allows
the message to take root at a deeper level; a soul level.
I wanted to share this video with you so that you can see how my music and my message work hand in hand.
